When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Mella and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
