Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
