History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Greethen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Mercenary. He became a Mercenary soon after.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Emmeline began to lead the lost caravan. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Tyna is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and she has money and likes to spend it
