Personality: Ekemon hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Ekemon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His fur is gray and curly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Flame enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Lone was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Adventurer. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Astaro's homeland. Astaro decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
