History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Kaladan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
