History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Priest work with an outfit from a few towns over. Priest work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Priest for hire.

After coming to the age of reason, Qualen took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Marshal kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
