History: Syllin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.
