Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She wears her silver hair down. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Shamil lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Shamil and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, and is pretty ugly. She wears a small hat to cover her moderate length chestnut hair. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: Tomph is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She likes to wear violet tank tops with pastel skirt. Her white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are likewise hazel. Her teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: She was born in the west. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Isabella and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To unite with her sister.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Half-Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many pastel ritualistic tattoos. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is short and blonde. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. A true patriot, Roger would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a grey shirt with thin black vertical stripes and green pants. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are blue and catlike.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins.
