Through the years after Jelenneth was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jelenneth's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Volen was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Volen decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and wants to open a new tavern
