History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His first spouse was a Shoemaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ernest never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Oda was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Oda decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Hunter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
