Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A gifted student she started as a Butcher, but she got bored and became a Painter. Recently the stress of being a Painter has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Vaina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has never given up on her poetry dream.
