History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Personality: She is a Sailor first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Avice was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
