History: She comes from a rich northern family. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: She was born in a small island village. Ranala liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Performer for the past few years.
