His mother taught him the rudiments of the Servant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: An older woman who does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it, she is not a threatening figure. With wild auburn hair. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Barbena enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Barbena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Barbena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

History: He was born in a small plains village. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A 3'1" western man, he tends to wear a large white jacket. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is unsatisfied with his job
