History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Patrick began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
