She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for her, and Verin does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
