His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eiravel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Vani was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Ilanis was born the youngest of three triplets. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her auburn hair is wavy and long. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. She's also a talented Stylist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
