History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Cartwright, and she later adopted a second son.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of goblins
