History: Millicent was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Baker profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Birel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Birel was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Layabout. She has worked as a Layabout like her mother before her.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
