Criella grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Criella. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
