Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Igden has worked very hard to control his curse. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Quillathe reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Kellen was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and many dire rats want her driven away
