History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His childhood dream was to be a Carpenter, but he was a colossal failure. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: Verna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Verna reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions.
