History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Patrin was taken on many hunting expeditions. A freak accident while working with his Merchant mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: A middle-aged man, he has the majority of his body covered in plate, and is pretty ugly. He has shaved his head bald. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Zaffrab alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Zaffrab was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears dull red sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed club, just in case, and is pretty ugly. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Tod never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants to get laid

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Avelina is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Avelina's homeland. Avelina decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and wants to raise her children well
