History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Aline never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
