She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Sarai and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
