History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: Jarana is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jarana grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Sellsword profession.

History: Born in the north to a Roofer, Five learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Being a Roofer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and to be a sellsword again

She wears her brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Faral hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and a deep hatred of dire rats
