History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A middle-aged man, he usually wears his brown robe and has his halberd always slung over his shoulder, and is pretty ugly. His fur is cut close to his head. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sun grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
