History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He got into the Crown-heir business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: He was born in the south. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Thrak was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
