History: Gimurt lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Fargas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Fargas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
