Baern's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and wants to work out more often

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own.
