History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. After coming to the age of reason, Sumnes took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
