Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Cockaby alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
