History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Oblar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Weaver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'9" when asserting herself. She has styled her silver hair well, parting it to the right. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Sage who has hired her part-time. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: Gunnloda is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and wants to work out more often

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears long strands of ruby and short blue dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. She has dyed her greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She takes great joy in being the best Detective in town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Traulam studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a Detective soon after.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
