History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own.
