History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Gormogord took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
