Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to clean up the streets

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Balifra lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second daughter.
