Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has dyed his greying bronze crest a little too much giving a sharp bronze color. His eyes are likewise red.

Personality: Kerkad is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Hunter business.

History: He got into the Hunter business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He became a Hunter soon after.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Shadow is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Healer.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and an old rival family wants her found
