The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She worked as a nervous Sculptor and found it very stressful. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This southern man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His clothes are grease stained in places. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hobart embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Neega was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Neega's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is content.
