History: Verin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Tricking was born with her father's beautiful face. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
