Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. She became a Beggar soon after.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Direcris hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Direcris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
