History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Herbalist, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: Surina was born the youngest of three triplets. A freak accident while working with her Engraver mother left her crippled. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
