She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jarana decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Koeth took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. He bought a sickle and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
