Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nykkan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Nykkan was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Nykkan and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is greedy
