History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in the west to a Baker, Kristryd learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
