History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Carrie never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Born to a Bather, her father struggled to pay the bills. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Being a Courier kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Korfel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
