History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Percival began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
