Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A freak accident while working with his Sage mother left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Bethrynna hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. After coming to the age of reason, Bethrynna took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and a deep hatred of gnolls
