Description: She stands about 5'7" and is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her black hair has been sun bleached extensively. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Maynild wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Maynild was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: An older man who tends to wear a large yellow jacket, he is not a threatening figure. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His ears are large.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Trey enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Trey abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his sister

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
