Description: 5'5" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available he will default to his hand crossbow. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Qemuel is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Qemuel was born with his mother's beautiful face. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a green shirt with thin black vertical stripes and blue pants. Her brown hair is knotted and matted. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: She was born into a rich family. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

His silver crest is still thick. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Kerkad has worked very hard to control his curse. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Soveliss alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and many illithids want him driven away
