Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Ruler. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
